After five years of exposing the sheet under the sun, yellowish was kept under 3%, maintaining original performance while conventional PC board after irradiation by UV light from sunshine has lost its surface transparency, become foggy and yellowish with poor performance. For outdoor usage, yellowish exceeded 7.5%, which can be viewed visually.

Anti-uv PC board remain its characteristics of clearness, transparent effect which indicates high quality of weather resistance. Conventional PC board will be discolored, foggy and loss of its transparency after a year.


Polycarbonate likes:

Lukewarm water, when cleaning with a little household detergent added and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, just wipe, don't rub.


Polycarbonate dislikes:

Being cleaned dry, which can scratch it, fluffy or rough cloths. Polycarbonate has a fairly soft surface in comparison to glass and even acrylic.

Polycarbonate is not partial to solvents or oil-based products such as putty. It is best to use a low modulus, neutral cure silicone sealant for glazing polycarbonate.

Polycarbonate is notch sensitive.

Being heat formed without pre-drying
